It's easy to start residential water service.
If you currently do not have an active account with us, call our office at (702) 870-4194 or visit our offices at 1001 S. Valley View Blvd. to start residential water service.
We are open Monday through Thursday from
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If you have an active account with us and would like to transfer service or start service at a different address, you can use our online Customer Self Service.
It may take up to two business days to process your start service request.
To request same-day service, call Customer Services at (702) 870-4194 (not available on weekends or holidays). Same-day requests incur a $15 fee. See the Service Fees page for more information.
If your business has never had an account with us before, please fill out and submit the Commercial Start Service Form. (You need Adobe Reader 6 or newer to view this form. Get Adobe Reader.)
If you currently have an active account with us and would like to transfer service or start service at a different address, you can do so using our online Customer Self Service.
Please allow five business days to process your start service request.
NOTE: Customers who request activation of a service shall be responsible for damage resulting from such activation due to open or faulty piping and/or fixtures on the customer's property.
You may be required to provide a deposit.
For residential properties, the deposit is $150 or 2.5 times the highest monthly bill, whichever is greater, during a 12-month period. The deposit is due when you request service.
For commercial properties, the deposit is computed based on account usage history/meter size. The deposit is due when you request service.

You may provide a surety bond in lieu of a cash deposit. For convenience, fill out the Surety Bond Form online before printing.
