Safe Drinking Water Act
The purpose of the Safe Drinking Water Act is to ensure that the drinking water supplied to the public is safe. The EPA sets national drinking water standards that water system providers must follow.
The Las Vegas Valley's drinking water meets or exceeds all federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards. In fact, our water is tested more thoroughly and frequently than most bottled water.
Your tap water must meet federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards.
